I sometimes feel we do not believe we have much opportunity to bring God's thoughts and presence into the world of our young children; well, apart from parents and grandparents sharing their faith, one of the most crucial and present means available is through religious education in state schools (scripture classes).

Beginning with the assumption that God is present already, we simply lead the children on their personal journey of discovery as to just how close and Present he is... let me give you an example from this week............

A little girl in grade 2, just as we were about to pray, said, "I'd like this headache in my eye to go away!" I asked which eye and she said, "This one" and pointed to her left. I asked all the kids to all gently put their hands out towards little one and we simply prayed. After praying I was about to go on to my lesson and she said "It's gone already!" and gave a sweet little smiling chuckle... Praise YOU Jesus for showing your awesome care and power to these little ones!

How inspiring to bring a little child before Jesus for him to heal her. Lets pray that she will remember this experience for the rest of her life! Len what an honour to be the hands & feet of Christ to children - keep up the great work my friend! Ps Kev

Good old "Pasta" Len (really not that old after all). I remember all the miracles that God did for me as a child. At the time I just said "Thanks God" without any astonishment. Now I look back and think.... WOW!!!
