The Medical Centre in Daaba, Ghana is really taking shape now! Over the last week, progress has been steadily made, and the roof is going up. Check out the latest photos here on the Watson Association website.

Thank you to all who have been so incredibly generous and supportive as we gather the funds for the next progress payment of $47,000 due - well..... pretty much now!

We are getting there, already reaching the $30,000 mark and continuing to trust God for the remainder of this payment, and those to come.

A friend shared a great article about faith with me this week, which was very encouraging to read as we continue to believe and step out in faith with this project. The author, Cliff Young, talked about how he has learnt along his journey that faith, real faith, takes action. James 2: 17 says "Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead". He goes on to explain that faith does not mean asking God for something, and then sitting and waiting every day for the answer to come. But instead, it means taking an actual "step of faith" in the direction that you believe God is leading you.

We have committed the Medical Centre in Ghana to God, and have no doubt that He will provide the funds required, and we will see "the impossible" over the coming weeks as over $80,000 is raised to complete the project. We have faith for that! But I also know that our faith in this must be backed up in action.

And that is what we are seeing so many of you do!

It is so encouraging, and a joy to see, and experience, God stretching our faith. So many of you are stepping out and speaking with your friends, neighbours, family, and the business men and women that are in your network, encouraging them to get involved and make life better in such a practical and necessary way, for the people of Daaba. I encourage you to continue in that, and would also ask you to please continue to bring this project before God in prayer.

As we continue to actively and deliberately take steps of faith, engaging with the people in our world, we know that God is going to move, and we will see this project completed..... and as a result - see the lives of families transformed as they have access to medical help for their loved ones.
