I serve on the Tuesday night Lifechurch Online session, and I wanted to let you all in on a few things that have happened lately so that you can all be part of what CCCLiVE.TV is doing right around the world, via the internet!
Last week, we were having a normal Church Online experience - our site visitors and our international volunteers (who now call CCC home too) who come and help us every week, were all praising God together, when suddenly 100 people showed up in the experience in 5 minutes! We could barely keep up with the quick flow of the chat converstation as people started asking questions about who God was, what Church online was, and why we volunteered......we were happy to fill them all in :)
In the background, our one on one prayer rooms were going crazy! People were asking for serious prayer asking God to help them turn their lives around.....to the point where we ended up calling in reinforcement volunteers from Europe!!! We were all so excited to see God moving for these people who may never have been to a church before, may never have even met a Christian, and may not have felt comfortable getting help from people in their own worlds!
At the end of the night, 48 people gave their hearts to God.....how amazing is that?! Us, the CCCLiVE.TV crew, (the Aussie Contingent - plus 2 Kiwi's) got to see God's power in a special way, all via the internet, in the comfort of our own homes!
